Platform

The CodeLantern platform manages your organization, team, integrations, repositories, and analytics.

The CodeLantern platform is the account side of the product, managed from the portal at portal.codelantern.ai. It's where your team, integrations, repositories, and access all live. This setup lets the cl-dev plugin run against your own GitHub or Linear projects.

You'll spend most of your day inside your coding agent running skills. The platform is what you configure once and revisit occasionally: to invite a teammate, connect a new repository, change how a repo is wired up, or check in on how the work is going.

New to CodeLantern?

The Core Concepts section explains the workflow, the knowledge base, and how it all fits together.

What the platform manages

  • Organization: your top-level account, including its name, brand, and settings. It owns everything below, and an organization always keeps at least one admin.
  • Team: the people in your organization. Invite teammates by email, assign each a role (admin or member), and manage or revoke access.
  • Integrations: the connections from your organization to GitHub and Linear. GitHub connects through the CodeLantern GitHub App and can act as both your project manager and your source control. Linear connects through OAuth and handles project management only; source control is always GitHub.
  • Repositories: the repos CodeLantern works in. Register a repo and tell it which project-management provider its issues live in.
  • Analytics: a live view of the work, showing how your knowledge base is growing, how fast issues move through the workflow, and how the MCP tools are being used across your repos.
