Organizations
Your organization is the CodeLantern account that everything else belongs to: your team, integrations, repositories, and analytics.
What an organization is
Your organization is your team's CodeLantern account, the tenant that everything else belongs to. It owns:
- Your team: the people who use CodeLantern, and their roles.
- Integrations: your connections to GitHub and Linear.
- Repositories: the repos CodeLantern works in, and where each one's work lives.
- Analytics: the activity captured across all of it.
Everything you set up in CodeLantern lives inside one organization, and you manage all of it from the portal at portal.codelantern.ai.
Organization settings
From Organization Settings you manage the account itself:
- Name: how your organization is labelled across the portal.
- Brand color: the accent used for your organization's avatar.
- Organization ID: a stable identifier for your account, handy for support.
Only admins can change these. Deleting an organization removes it and all of its data, and it can't be undone. It lives behind a clearly marked danger zone.
