What an organization is

Your organization is your team's CodeLantern account. It owns:

• Your team: the people who use CodeLantern, and their roles.
• Integrations: connections to your project-management and source-control providers.
• Repositories: the repositories CodeLantern works in, and where each one's work lives.
• Analytics: the activity captured across your repositories.

Manage your organization in the portal. If you are joining an existing team, accept its invitation rather than creating another organization. For a new team, follow Admin Setup.

Organization settings

From Organization Settings, admins manage the account itself:

• Name: how your organization is labelled across the portal.
• Brand color: the accent used for your organization's avatar.
• Marketplace URL: the marketplace used by codelantern setup to install your organization's plugin. If setup reports that none is configured, check this setting with your CodeLantern administrator.
• Organization ID: a stable identifier for your account, useful for support.

Deleting an organization removes it and all of its data, and cannot be undone. This action is in the danger zone.

Value Telemetry

Value Telemetry collects measurements from coding sessions for session-based Usage and Value analytics. It is off by default.

An admin can turn it on or off under Organization Settings → Value Telemetry. Enabling it starts a new collection period. Earlier sessions are excluded; enabling it later does not fill in historical activity. Turning it off stops further uploads, while previously uploaded data remains available. Enabling it again starts another collection period.

The coding environment must also support session capture. An enabled setting alone does not mean session data has been received. Follow Developer Setup to configure the supported tooling.
